AppDynamics, a leading application intelligence company helping power enterprise digital transformation, announced that Principal Software Engineer, Balwinder Kaur, will speak on “Going Beyond the Device Heartbeat” at The Linux Foundation’s Open IoT Summit 2016 on Monday, April 4 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California.

“As millions of embedded devices get connected to the cloud, it’s crucial for the teams monitoring the performance of their production systems to get insight into the edge device’s health, and proactively fix problems before it hits the front page of The New York Times,” said Kaur. “As connected devices move into traditional businesses like the financial services, retail, and automotive sectors, legacy device management and diagnostics often clash with backend enterprise performance management systems.”
