Arrayent, the developer of the Arrayent Connect IoT platform chosen by the world’s most trusted brands, announced that it has released its first commercially available EcoAdaptor, the EcoAdaptor for Nest developers.  The EcoAdaptor for Nest enables global brand owners to reduce their time to deployment associated with the Works with Nest product certification process.

Arrayent’s first EcoAdaptor for Nest customer has already obtained Works with Nest certification and is selling its product at scale in multiple markets.  Additional Arrayent customers will be shipping products utilizing the Arrayent EcoAdaptor for Nest service shortly.

The EcoAdaptor for Nest is the first of a growing number of EcoAdaptors provided through Arrayent’s EcoAdaptor Service™. Additional EcoAdaptors will expand the ability for connected products of Arrayent customers to interact with other IoT platform APIs in a secure and scalable way. Arrayent’s EcoAdaptor service customers not only save development time, they can deliver more value to end consumers, while gaining confidence that they are relying on a proven approach that ensures scalable, secure and well-maintained service over time.

“Our customers want to expand their businesses beyond stand-alone products to create service-oriented ecosystems that integrate through Cloud-to-Cloud connections,” said Cyril Brignone, CEO of Arrayent. “With our new EcoAdaptor for Nest, our global brand customers can more quickly build on the Works with Nest API to increase the functionality and value of their own products.”

Arrayent built its EcoAdaptor for Nest in collaboration with existing Works with Nest developers and Arrayent customers. “Arrayent customers are major consumer product companies that can’t afford to suffer damage to their reputation and brand equity as a result of security issues or network failures,” said William Oget, Arrayent’s Vice President of Engineering. “The Arrayent team paid special attention to both the scalability and security aspects of the EcoAdaptor for Nest implementation.”
