Dave Friedman, CEO and co-founder of Ayla Networks, will be an Internet of Things (IoT) panelist at the CeBIT IoT Summit, to be held March 15-17, 2016, in Hannover, Germany. Friedman and other speakers at the IoT Summit — part of CeBIT’s Expert Panels series — will explore the increasing range and scope of IoT opportunities as well as the challenges in deploying and maximizing benefits from IoT systems.

Wendy Toth, Ayla’s vice president of marketing, will participate in a data analytics panel at the Smart Home Summit, April 6-7, 2016, in Frankfurt, Germany. The panel discussion points will include how to maximize data’s value, and how data impacts product pricing.

Ayla, a global IoT platform for manufacturers, recently launched its European Internet of Things Cloud service and the extension to Europe of key technology partnerships with Amazon AWS, Broadcom, Qualcomm, Marvell, Murata and USI.

“With the Ayla cloud platform,” Friedman said, “Manufacturers can use the same IoT technology to launch connected versions of their products in multiple regions, instead of duplicating development efforts for each region.”

Because the Ayla Europe cloud is compliant with European Union (EU) data-privacy policies, manufacturers wanting to sell connected products in Europe “inherit” that compliance when they use the Ayla Imtermet of Things platform. As a result, they can save considerable time and money by not having to design solutions for EU privacy compliance themselves.
