Bsquare announced that it has extended the terms of its distribution agreement for Microsoft Windows Embedded, including IoT products such as Windows 10 IoT, through June 30, 2017. This agreement, which maintains a longstanding relationship between the companies, enables Bsquare to continue providing Microsoft Windows IoT to its OEM customers as well as toDataV Internet of Things (IoT) customers that require a robust embedded OS.

According to Bsquare Vice President of OEM Sales Scott Caldwell, “We see a substantial number of IoT deployments that can benefit from the richness and stability of Microsoft Windows IoT. This agreement, when combined with our comprehensive systems integration and professional engineering services, allows Bsquare to offer complete DataV-based IoT solutions.”

The agreement with Microsoft carries identical terms to the existing Distribution Agreement for Software products for Embedded Systems. This agreement covers North America and most countries in South America and theCaribbean. Additionally, Bsquare has also renewed its agreements for the distribution of Windows Mobile acrossNorth America, Central America, South America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Japan for the same duration.
