VocalIQ™ announced that it has opened a satellite office in San Francisco to support its Silicon Valley and North American clients and in preparation for the company’s public technology launch in the third quarter of 2015.

VocalIQ is developing the world’s first self-learning dialogue platform (as opposed to simple voice recognition) that has been recognized by customers as the future of human-machine conversation. VocalIQ uses the most advanced machine learning algorithms to actually enable reliable, accurate and natural human-to-machine conversations for the first time.

The company’s founders include CEO Dr. Blaise Thomson, who spent several years researching new approaches to building spoken dialogue systems as a Research Fellow at St John’s College Cambridge; and Chairman Professor Steve Young, a world-renowned computer speech researcher at Cambridge University, who has pioneered the use of machine learning in dialogue systems.

The company’s new U.S. office is at 71 Stevenson Street, Suite 400, San Francisco.
