DADO Labs announced this week major industry wins for the first Internet-enabled home appliances built on the DADO Platform.

At the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Expo (HPBE), DADO’s technology helped SABER Grills (Char-Broil, LLC) introduce its new EDGE grill to the world with Vesta Awards for both “Best in Show” and “Best Gas Barbecue” – the first time a Char-Broil brand has won both awards at the show.  Simultaneously, at the International Housewares Association (IHA) show, the DADO-powered Behmor Brazen “Connected 8 Cup Brew System” won the Innovation Award for Kitchen Electrics.

Created in partnership with Char-Broil, LLC, the leading manufacturer of grills and smokers in the United States, and Behmor Inc., a leader in coffee brewing and home coffee roasting technology, the new connected products underscore the budding “Internet of Things” (IoT) movement and effectiveness of the DADO Platform to help brands deliver the innovations desired by their customers.

“We are thrilled to bring home these awards with our partners,” said Tom Worley, CEO of DADO Labs. “These big wins at HPBE and IHA not only highlight the vision of our appliance partners in moving beyond mere home-automation in the IoT space, but they also help validate the DADO platform as the premier IoT platform for brands looking to innovate in the IoT economy.”
