IEEE International Conference on Network Softwarization
June 6, 2016 - June 10, 2016

2nd annual IEEE International Conference on Network Softwarization (NetSoft 2016) to take place on 6-10 June 2016 at The-K Hotel in Seoul, Korea.
Bringing together world-leading service providers, vendors, research institutes, open source projects and academia, this year’s event focuses on softwarization of networks, clouds and Internet of Things (IoT).
The week is comprised of plenary sessions with 20 plenary session papers, 36 technical session papers, a distinguished expert panel, exhibitions showcasing the latest solutions from vendors, interactive demos of research prototypes, and posters of ongoing works by researchers. In addition, the conference offers six tutorials on various aspects of network softwarization and four co-located workshops including Software Defined 5G Networks, SDN and IoT, Open-Source Software Networking, and Security in Virtualized Networks.
An impressive keynote line-up includes: Dongmyun Lee (CTO & SEVP, KT Corporation, Korea), Jinsung Choi (CTO & EVP, SKT, Korea), Chih-Lin I (Chief Scientist, China Mobile, China), Guru Parulkar (Professor, Stanford & Founder/Executive Director of ON.Lab, USA), Aki Nakao (University of Tokyo, Japan), Robert Szabo (Ericsson, Hungary) and Kohei Shiomoto (NTT Labs, Chair of IRTF SDN RG, Japan).
“Softwarization is a systemic trend that is opening a new value-chain for telecommunications, ICT, and several other industries, and the new products and services that are being invented and deployed are creating an ecosystem of users, vendors, researchers, service providers and investors,” said Eileen Healy, IEEE SDN co-chair. “With the support of James Won-Ki Hong from POSTECH, Korea as the general conference chair, the Organizing Committee and the Technical Program Committee, NetSoft 2016 has a solid technical program toward advancing the technology marketplace.”
IEEE SDN is building a large technical community with over 3,000 experts worldwide.
