InterDigital, a mobile technology research and development company, announced that InterDigital Europe will participate in “Use of the oneM2M standard in the oneTRANSPORT field trial,” a IoT webinar hosted by oneM2M on February 12, 2016.
During the IoT webinar, Dr. Rafael Cepeda, Senior Manager, InterDigital Europe, will join experts from Arup and Buckinghamshire County Council to examine the intelligent-transport needs of local government and transport-sector authorities in the UK and how the oneM2M standard addresses their operational requirements across a broad set of stakeholders. The presenters will also describe how the oneTRANSPORT project, an integrated transport initiative targeted at transport authorities, is using the oneM2M standard.

oneTRANSPORT, which is supported by Innovate UK, was proposed by a consortium that consists of eleven partners including InterDigital Europe, Arup and Buckinghamshire County Council. The project aims to enable multimodal transport information to be published by data owners (e.g. transport authorities and new third parties) and accessed nationally by transport authorities, application developers and others.
