The IoT Tech Expo North America 2016, which is taking place at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley will open its doors from 8:30am on October 20th for two days of top level content, discussion, case studies, networking, live demo’s and more.
There are plenty of dynamic panel discussions over across the two days covering the entire IoT ecosystem and here are just a few snapshots of the key verticals the expo covers.
2pm, October 20th, Connected Industry track.

4.10pm, October 21st, Connected Living track.
Innovators from GeoTab and Navigant join speakers from Ford, Renault and Panasonic to detail all the latest developments in the IoT automotive space. They’ll discuss immediate issues such as progress in vehicle design alongside more fundamental questions of how we will perceive mobility in the future, and what the IoT means for the future of the transport ecosystem.
2.30pm, October 21st, Data & Security track.
Experts from both public and private sector join forces to discuss the security challenges of IoT development, addressing the risks of Big Data and the importance of balancing privacy and data utility. An essential topic in the progression of internet of Things exploration.
10.40am, October 21st, Connected Industry track.
Representatives from WirePas, Synapse, Harbor Research and Caterpillar come together to discuss the challenges, opportunities and evolution of heavy industry and the IIoT. What new tools and systems are enabling digitalisation? How far have we come and much further can we go? Come along to find out all the answers.

Speakers from Softbank Robotics, Leantegra, ABI Research and Bloomingdales/Macy’s discuss the evolution of IoT in retail, how this affects the customer relationship and what part other areas such as wearables and NFC might play in furthering the future of retail in the physical and digital spheres.
