Macnica Americas today announced that it is starting to take orders for the Mpression Odyssey MAX® 10 FPGA Evaluation Kit from customers in North America. Macnica Americas anticipates to be shipping kits against these orders in early February.
The Mpression Odyssey MAX 10 Evaluation Kit (ordering code: ODYSSEY-MAX10-KIT) is a comprehensive IoT development platform which contains the Odyssey MAX 10 FPGA board with an Altera® MAX® 10 FPGA, and the Odyssey Bluetooth® SMART Sensor board which combines sensors for ambient light, proximity, heart rate, blood oximetry, temperature, and humidity from Silicon Laboratories, and an accelerometer from Analog Devices, together with a low-power USB-enabled EFM32TM Gecko microcontroller from Silicon Laboratories and a Bluetooth SMART connectivity module from Broadcom.
This tiny but powerful package can be controlled with the free Mpression Odyssey smartphone app that uses Bluetooth SMART (BLE) technology to communicate with the boards. This allows a user to have a smartphone controlled FPGA and sensor development platform connected to a smartphone with Bluetooth SMART connectivity.
North American customers that pre-registered for the kit will receive separate emails explaining the procedures to order the kit at their special pre-registration price.
