Mocana, a leading provider of IoT security, today announced its partnership with Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation.
Schneider Electric committed to a multi-year, enterprise-wide integration of Mocana’s Security of Things Platform (SoTP) in their automated systems and energy management solutions. The partnership will enable standardization and uniformity across Schneider; they will take advantage of Mocana’s trusted, next-generation cybersecurity package, solving the salient issues many device manufacturers face.
“We are excited to work with Mocana in implementing their comprehensive software solution across our divisions. With Mocana’s Security of Things Platform, we are able to maintain consistency in our security approaches, across any type of device or sensor, addressing the variance of real-time operating systems (RTOS), controllers and CPUs. Mocana brings strong FIPS-140 proven cryptography to our embedded devices all the way up to the cloud, enabling a safer path to IoT transformation for our connected business strategy,” said George Wrenn, VP at Schneider.
“As more manufactures move into the IoT space, the level of urgency in securing their products have increased exponentially,” said Peter Graham, Vice President of Mocana. “We are proud to partner with Schneider in advancing security and safety.”
