EarlySense announced that a product powered by EarlySense technology, Samsung SleepSense, has won an International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 Innovation Award, in the smart home category.
The Samsung SleepSense was developed in partnership with EarlySense and incorporates EarlySense’s contact-free sensor technology. Placed under the user’s mattress, the solution tracks and provides information on individual’s sleep habits and delivers personalized expert tips for sleep improvement directly to the user’s smartphone. SleepSense can also connect to smart appliances, allowing users to control air conditioning units or turn off the television when falling asleep, all in an attempt to automatically create an optimal sleeping environment.
