Sierra Wireless has announced that the company will be speaking and showcasing its solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) at CTIA Super Mobility 2016, September 7-9, at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, NV.

IoT Open Hardware Workshop

Sierra Wireless and Richardson RFPD will host a breakfast and open hardware workshop on Wednesday, September 7, 8:00-11:00 AM at the Sands Expo, giving embedded developers the opportunity to play with the latest open-source IoT hardware and software platforms – mangOH Green sensor-to-cloud hardware platform powered by the Legato Linux application framework.

Speaking on the IoT/M2M Presentation Stage

Sierra Wireless’ Brian Makarowski, Director, Market Development, will speak on the panel, “New Alternatives to Low Power Low-Cost Connectivity” on Thursday, September 8, 12:00-13:10 PM, on the IoT/M2M Presentation Stage.

CTIA Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards

The Sierra Wireless high-performance AirLink MP70 LTE-Advanced Vehicle Router is a finalist for the CTIA E-Tech Awards in the Everything Good category, which showcases mobile products making a difference in society.

The MP70 delivers the industry’s highest performing vehicle area network (VAN) for mission critical applications in public safety, field services, and transit.
