Big data analytics and solutions provider Sysorex will speak on data privacy and Internet of Things (IoT) security during two sessions at the Securing the Internet of Things Forum on January 28, 2016 in Sacramento, California. Sysorex’s Infrastructure Security Practice Director, Umesh Jagannatha, will join eWeek Magazine’s Chris Preimesberger for a morning cybersecurity roundtable in the Governor’s Council Room at Leland Stanford Mansion. In the afternoon, Sysorex CTO, Craig Harper, will lead an expert panel that will examine IoT security risks and best practices in a supply chain increasingly dependent on connected devices.

“The Internet of Things is a critical component of every aspect of the modern economy — power, transportation, communications, government, you name it,” said Sysorex CTO, Craig Harper. “As such, the security of these connected devices and the data they generate, is paramount. I am looking forward to some thought-provoking discussions and insights from other thought leaders in the private, government and education sectors.”
